Assistant Manager – HR                                                                 Posting - Kolkata
Job Description.                

1) Serve as a key member advising business leadership team responsible for HR processes for Associates.

2) Function in an active and influential business advisory role with executives in order to drive business results

3) Leverage broader HR team resources to drive change in leadership & organizational development, compensation and staffing.

Specific areas of focus over the next 12 - 24 months include:

- developing and implementing staffing and learning strategies
- participate in developing retention strategies
- contribute to organizational development,
- talent planning, diversity, compensation management and delivery,
- performance management, workforce planning, - participate in developing appraisal mechanism
- increasing associate satisfaction and engagement,

Some travel to other regional offices and job sites will be required.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years human resources experience in a mid-sized service organization of 50 FTEs, is required, preferably in the engineering sector.

1) Preferable to have experience in three or more of the following areas:

- human resources management,
- organizational development/change management
- process improvement (familiarity with ISO 9001     procedures preferred)
- compensation, staffing.
- Prepare Competency Matrix w.r.t Skill Set.
- Understanding of Contract Labour, Welfare Laws & Other Statutory Compliances etc.

2) Business driven with strong financial understanding

3) Strategic planning, proficiency in problem resolution
and general management aspects.

4) Advanced communication & presentation skills

5) High level of interpersonal skills and integrity and
responsive team player

6) Ability to influence senior management, establish and maintain collaborative partnerships and participate in thought leadership

7) Ability to appreciate and function in a matrix environment

Design Engineer – Geotechnical & Hydraulic:

Candidate must be BE/ B.Tech-Civil/ M.Tech – Civil (Hydraulic Engineering / Water Resources Engg.) with relevant experience in Hydraulic design of structures in Geotechnical Projects and knowledge of relevant software tools. Excellent analytical and communication skills. The job involves preparing & providing design, technical support, participation in research & development activities, internal and external training, Design of Geotechnical & Hydraulic structures in Geotechnical (including River protection walls, retaining walls, dams, Barrage etc.)

 

AutCAD Draftsman:

Candidate should have high precision levels to match with International Standards and should be able to meet the demanding expectations of our clients / customers. Good academic track in ITI – Civil / Diploma holders with excellent drafting experience.

 

Assistant Engineers / Junior Engineers:

Candidate should be ITI / BE – Civil. 2-5 years of Experience in Civil Construction / Infrastructure type of job. Candidate to be located full time at our project sites situated all over India.

 

Senior Engineers:

Candidate Should be ITI / BE – Civil. 6-10 years of Experience in Civil Construction / Infrastructure type of job. Candidate to be located full time at our project sites situated all over India.

 

Project Managers:

Candidate should be Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering with 7-12 Years of experience. He should be able to be in charge of specific projects and should be able to independently manage / handle the multiples of projects/ sites of civil construction / infrastructure type jobs situated all over India.

 

Regional Project Coordinators:

Candidate should be Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering with 4-8 years of experience. He should be able to coordinate all the project sites of a region for day to day site activities, with the Project Managers / Senior Engineers and also with the clients, consultants etc. Candidate should be prepared to travel extensively to various projects sites.

 

 

Sales & Business Development:

 

Area Managers / Engineers – Sales:

Candidate should be Diploma / Degree in Civil or other allied engineering with sound technical knowledge, pleasing personality and good communication. Additional qualifications like DBM / MBA etc. will be added advantage. The candidate shall be responsible for prospecting potential clients, expanding existing client base, developing / managing information and achieving targeted level of sales, building relationships. Experience required is 2-6 years.

 

CAs / ICWAs / MBAs / Graduates ( Finance / Commercial / Accounts / Banking / Taxation ):

We are looking for talented, good analytical and communication skills, hardworking professionals to fill positions at various levels and locations for the above functions. Candidate with professional qualifications with excellent experience of 5 to 15 years are invited to apply for these Positions.
