Glass Geocomposite – AIC

TechGlass AIC is a composite of high modulus, low strain glass fiber strands stitched to a Polyester non woven.
The reinforcing effect of the low strain glass fiber strands to the asphalt system in combination with the water proofing, stress relieving and bonding properties of the nonwoven leads to a dramatic reduction of Reflective cracking under asphalt overlays.

Advantages:

	Prolongs surface life time by a factor of approx. 7. The glass fiber structure provides the high strength interlayer at very low strain, which effectively stitches the cracks together.
	The PE non woven with an ability to withstand 250 deg C and with optimum asphalt retention characteristics assist in providing the water proofing to the whole structure.
	TechGlass AIC is easy to install and can also be laid on milled surface due to its flexible nature.

	For new highways and industrial roads
	In maintenance of existing flexible pavements.
	Lane widening areas.
	Asphalt over PCC surface.
