We manufacture three variants of woven geotextiles: Slit-film (TFI5000), Polyester Multifilament (TFI3000) and Polypropylene Multifilament (TFI1000). The multifilament geotextile are an ideal replacement for the costly natural filter media and perform the functions of filtration, separation and drainage. The slit-film geotextiles can be used for construction of new roads. Some of the major applications of woven geotextiles are: sub- base reinforcement in roads, filtration & drainage media in roads & retaining walls, slope protection, erosion control structures, ground stabilization, landscaping, etc.
TFI 5000 Series
TechFab 5000 series geotextiles are Woven textiles manufactured from high tenacity UV-stabilized Polypeopylene slit film / fibrillated tape. They have a superier combination of mechanical and hydraulic properties and are suitable for the applications to serve the functions of Separation, Reinforcement and Stabilization.
TechFab 5000 series Geotextiles shall mainly be used in earth reinforcement structures like embankments on soft foundations, steep slopes and soil stabilization for road and rail construction, as it increases the stability and bearing capacity of fine-grained soils.
TFI 3000 Series
TechFab 3000 Series geotextiles are manufactured from high tenacity multifilament polyester yarns and have high tensile strengts, low elongation and low creep. Recommended for applications involving the function of reinforcement. The geotextile also has low opening size and adequate permiability enabling them to perform the function of separation also.
TFI 1000 Series
TechFab 1000 Series geotextiles are manufactured from polypropylene multifilament yarns with a good combination of mechanical and hydraulic characterstics. These are suitable for applications involving the functions of separation, filteration and stabilization
With a design alternative incorporating geotextile, immediate cost saving are possible through one or more of the following:
