Debris flow barriers are engineered systems designed to contain and mitigate the destructive impact of debris flows, strategically designed considering flow dynamics, terrain conditions, and the assets they protect, ensuring reliable performance under extreme events.
Each barrier is designed to intercept, absorb, and dissipate the kinetic energy of flowing debris, safeguarding roads, bridges, and critical infrastructure. TechFab’s barriers are constructed using High-Tensile Ring Nets, intermediate longitudinal steel posts, and a secondary TechSlope Mesh layer, with double spiral rope anchors for secure foundations and optional tubular abrasion protection for enhanced rope durability.
Barriers are available with or without posts, and can be custom-engineered to suit site-specific conditions such as slope geometry, flow intensity, and environmental constraints — commonly deployed in mountainous and hilly terrains, highway and railway slope protection, and hydropower and mining infrastructure.
